About the Conference

Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College is organising an International Conference on Public International Law: Navigating the New Contours.

Venue: NEW LAW COLLEGE AUDITORIUM ERANDWANE, KOTHRUD, PUNE– 411 038, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Dates: 21st and 22nd March 2020.

Eligibility

The conference shall be a two-day event graced by prominent jurists, lawyers & academicians having vast knowledge in the field of ‘Public International Law’. It shall invite students, scholars, experts and academicians from India and abroad to present papers on the prevailing contemporary issues in the field of Public International Law.

Call for Papers

We invite papers for presentation from students, experts, lawyers, academicians from India and abroad. The paper should be original and contemporary. It should focus on any of given themes of the Conference. Followings are the broad themes, though any topic which does not fall within the given themes may be accepted as per the discretion of the Panel of Experts. Every abstract and paper will be reviewed before the final selection for presentation.

The author(s)/researcher(s) have to submit the abstract by the stipulated date. Based on the abstract, the author(s)/researcher(s) will be informed about the selection and will be asked to submit the full paper. The Abstract should include, Title of the Abstract and Theme, Name, Designation and Institution of Author(s)/Researcher(s), Email, Contact number.

All abstracts are to be submitted at nlcmootsociety@gmail.com.

Important Dates

  • Abstract Submission: 15th February 2020
  • Notification of acceptance of Abstract: 17th February 2020
  • Registration: 20th February 2020
  • Full Paper Submission: 15th March 2020

Registration Fees

There is no registration fee for the international delegates/participants etc.

The Registration Fee for the Indian Nationals:

Students: Rs. 2500/-

Academicians, Lawyers and Professionals: Rs. 3500/-

The Payment can be made through DD made in favour of “The Principal, New Law College, Pune” payable at Pune or can also be wired through the Online mode as per the following details:

In case of cancellations, the registration fee shall not be refunded at any event.

Note: The fee covers the charges for the Conference Kit, Tea & Meal for two days. It does not include accommodation. Lodging & Boarding to the international/participants/delegates shall be free of cost.
